TechWorkers Enters Professional Services Business
New division to focus on providing flexible technical resource solutions to professional service organizations
San Ramon, Calif, Jan 3, 2005 –TechWorkers, a leading provider of flexible technical resource solutions, announced today a new business aimed at providing technical resource augmentation directly for Professional Services organizations. “It isn’t a whole lot different than what we are doing now except we’re focusing on providing technical resources specifically at professional services. The only real difference in providing resources for IT versus technical pro-services is more on the requirement of customer-effacing skills as opposed to just technical skills” says Joe Fusco, Executive Vice President and co-founder of TechWorkers. “Strategically it makes sense for us to market in this area. More and more pro-service organizations are looking to use a more flexible resource solution. It’s a better business model for our company to provide resources that generate revenue than create expense like in IT. With a lot of the IT resourcing going overseas, we felt that it was time to look at other resource markets that really need resources here in the U.S.” says Don Peed President and CEO of TechWorkers.
